Glaucoma testing:
Glaucoma is a painful disease which occurs when pressure inside the eye increases, resulting in damage to the optic nerve and retina. The doctors at Seville Animal Hospital use a special instrument called a digital tonometer to measure the pressure inside the eye. Early detection and treatment of glaucoma may prevent or delay blindness in your loved pet. Glaucoma can either be an inherited condition or develop due to an injury to the eye or the presence of another disease.

Signs:

- Unequal pupil size
- Enlargement of the eyeball
